About STEP

STEP - Our quick guide to what it is, how it works, and what to expect during a class!

Step is one of the all-time classic workouts. It's been around for decades and remains as popular as ever. The reason for this is simple - it really works and gets you the results you want!

It's a high-intensity, fat-burning aerobic workout set to upbeat music. Exercises using the step range from simple (step-up, step-down) to more advanced movements involving combinations of over and around the step, forwards and backwards.

In addition to the cardio benefits, you're obviously working the lower body a lot - calves, quadriceps and hamstrings - but because you use your core muscles to stabilize you as during the stepping movements you'll also burn fat and work the abdominals.

If you want an aerobic class with a difference, this is the one for you!
