Hi everyone! How are you holding out? Four weeks in and hopefully we are starting to adjust to the new 'normal'. I thought we'd let you know what we've been up to.

Our team have been furloughed but are still volunteering to help out.

  • Jess is calling you guys up regularly to check you are OK. Don't be a stranger though - if you need us just drop us a line at enquiries@the-fitness-bank.co.uk or connect via our social media feeds.
  • Our fitness instructors are busy making home workout and wellbeing videos that are available to all via our website.
  • We are supporting our freelance instructors by paying for any workout video they supply to us and promoting any online content they are producing during lockdown.
  • We are supporting our suppliers by continuing to place orders or pay credit for future use to try ensure we all get through this together.
  • Members of the team are volunteering to make any practical improvements to the club we can while we are shut. We are doing this within the social isolation guidance so we don't put anyone at risk.
  • We are planning for our grand reopening. What a party that is going to be!

We are starting to see some of the Government's financial support come through, which is easing the club's cash flow. We are so grateful to those who have been able to maintain their gym payments this far. Please know that you will not be out of pocket by a single penny. As soon as we are able, we will be rolling out payment holidays for all those who have paid but not been able to use.

We are not out of the woods yet, and we envisage being one of the last industries to see restrictions lifted so your support is vital for the club's future. Thank you.
